Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain high denitration performance in a short time after the start of waste gas treatment by using a catalyst prepd. by impregnating V2O5 in the one depositing NiO on a carrier consisting of binding thermally stabilized TiO2 and alumina base.
CONSTITUTION: V2O5 is deposited at 0.01W1wt% on the catalyst depositing NiO on a carrier prepd. by binding TiO2 thermally stabilized by tungsten oxide with alumina base. The catalyst obtained in this way has the denitration performance equal to that of the one not added with V2O5, and the time from the start of waste gas treatment until the stable exhibition of high denitration performance is shorter than that of the one not added with V2O5.
