Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the lithographic printing plate which has high resolving power and high printing endurance without complex manufacturing process by imparting thermal energy having a picture pattern shape on the heat sensitive original plate for the lithographic printing on which a specified amorphous layer is provided, and thereafter performing etching.
CONSTITUTION: A metal layer whose affinity to water or oil is different from that of a supporting body is provided on the supporting body. The amorphous layer of a derivative of indolinobenzopyrylspiran[2,2'](refered to SP hereinafter) is formed thereon, and the heat sensitive original plate for the lithographic printing is obtained. Then, the thermal energy having the picture pattern shape is imparted to said original plate, then the etching is performed. Thus the lithographic printing plate is obtained. As said SP, the product expressed by the formula can be used. As the hydrophilic supporting body, synthetic resin film having a coarse surface can be used. As the water repelling or oil repelling supporting body, a basic material such as paper or metal on which a silicone layer is provided and the like can be used.
