Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A biphenyl of formula I (R1 is 2W8C straight-chain alkyl, preferably n-pentyl or n-hexyl), an alkoxybiphenyl of formula II (R2 is 3W8C straight- chain alkyl, preferably n-pentyl or n-hexyl), a phenylcyclohexane of formula III(R3 is 3W7C straight-chain alkyl, preferably ethyl), a biphenylcyclohexane of formula IV (R4 is straight-chain alkyl, preferably n-pentyl) and a cyclohexylcarboxylic phenyl ester of formula V (R5 is 3W5C straight chain alkyl, preferably n-propyl or n-pentyl; R6 is 1W6C straight-chain alkyl, preferably ethyl or n-pentyl) are mixed preferably by 5W20wt% to give the objective composition.
USE: It is quick response even in cryogenic temperature range.
