Abstract
PURPOSE: To stabilize a thiol compound having the activities of oxidation and reduction, detoxication, etc. in the living body, by adding an amino acid (salt) or a material containing an amino acid as a constituent to an aqueous solution of a compound having thiol group.
CONSTITUTION: A compound having thiol group (e.g. captopril, cystine, glutathione, etc.) is stabilized by adding an amino acid (e.g. glycine, aspartic acid, arginine, etc.), its salt (e.g. sodium salt, hydrochloride, etc.) or a material containing an amino acid as a constituent (e.g. gelatin, glycylglycine, etc.) to an aqueous solution of the thiol group-contaning compound. The amount of the additive is ≥0.5mol equivalent based on the thiol group-containing compound.
