Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the arrangement of a generating portion in the side portion of a channel portion needless so that the amount of construction work is reduced, by installing the main body of a generator to a frame which is in turn so constructed that may move downstream upward by being guided by inclined surfaces formed in the lateral surfaces of a pier. CONSTITUTION:The installation of the main body of a generator 5 is made by setting struts 7 suspended from the main body of the generator 5 on a bed 6 disposed in a frame 4. A pair of front and rear wheels 9 are respectively attached to both sides of the frame 4, and are laid on inclined surfaces 10 formed in both lateral surfaces of a pier 2. Each inclined surface 10 has a downstream side directed upward, and therefore the frame 4 may move downstream upward. A water guide duct 11 is couplingably arranged on the upstream side of the main body of the generator 5. The water guide pipe 11 is attached to a water shut-off gate 13 provided with a water wheel shutting-off gate 14 and a screen 15.
