Abstract

PURPOSE: To coat a resin on a substrate uniformly in a desired thickness, by a method wherein a photosetting resin is dropped onto a rotating substrate and it is simultaneously irradiated with rays of a wavelength required for curing the resin.
CONSTITUTION: A photosetting resin liquid 7 containing monomers or low-molecu- lar components at high contents and being in a low viscosity state is dropped onto the rotating substrate 1, and rays of a wavelength necessary for curing the resin liquid 7 are irradiated from a light source 6 into the resin liquid 7 on the substrate 1 so that the resin liquid 7 flowing and spreading on the substrate 1 is gradually cured by polymerization, increasing its viscosity. Thus, the resin can be coated on the substrate 1 uniformly in the desired thickness.
