Abstract
PURPOSE:To lower the order of filter and to realize the sufficient filtering characteristics, by combining an infinite impulse response digital filter and a definite impulse response digital filter. CONSTITUTION:A signal in sampling frequency f1 inputted to a terminal 1 is interpolated at an interpolating device 2 and sampled at interleaving devices 7 and 9. As a result, a signal in sampling frequency f2 is obtained at an output. High frequency components are rejected by providing an infinite impulse response (FIR) digital filte and a definite impulse response (IIR) digital filter between the devices 2 and 7 and the two interleaving devices. To achieve the attenuation of 100dB in 22kHz, it is enough to provide the four order or IIR digital filters and several order of FIR digital filters.
