CONSTITUTION:In case of a facsimile device, a digital video signal S1 in white and black binary value is picked up by comparing a primary dimensional serial analog video signal from a photo electric converter scanning the original with a voltage from a comparison voltage generator 6 at a comparator 5. This video signal S1 is applied to a transmission system 7 via a video signal processing circuit 11 consisting of shift registers 12, 14 and NAND gate 13, and a part of black information exceeding the number of consecutive video elements exceeds a given number (for example, a part excluding the beginning and end part of the black information) is converted into white information. The said video signal processing circuit 11 can be provided between the transmission system and a recording driver 8 at the reception side.
