Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled disturbant that is composed of E-11-hexadecenal, showing effect of coupling disturbance against male adults of tea leaf roller, and of Z-11- tetradecenyl acetate, thus showing effect of coupling disturbance against other leaf folders as well.
CONSTITUTION: E-11-hexadecenal is combined with Z-11-tetradecenyl acetate, which shows coupling disturbing effect against smaller tea trotrix and tea tortrix male adults, at a ratio of 10/1W1/10. This combination may additionally contain other pheromon ingredients or attractants such as Z-11-tetrahexadecenal or Z-9- tetradecenyl acetate. The above mixture is prepared and applied to tea fields to control male adults of these 3 kinds of tea folders, insect pests of tea fields.
