Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to assemble the titled cover glass frames without using any tool and to connect them to other cover glass frames in a heat insulating fashion wherein each of the ridge cover glass frames is formed of two vertical crosspieces, a lower crosspiece, an upper crosspiece and a glass plate each of which has a specific structure. CONSTITUTION:The solar heat collecting roof is formed of the cover glass frame unit B provided between side roofing members A and A. The cover glass frame unit B includes an eave edge cover glass frame section B1, an intermediate cover glass frame section B2 and a ridge cover glass frame section B3 and of the above three sections, the ridge cover glass frame section B3 includes a group of cover glass frames each formed of the two vertical crosspieces 30, the lower crosspiece 31, the upper crosspiece 32 and the glass plate 33. Further, each of the vertical crosspieces 30 is provided with a side waterproof wall 36 at the upper portion thereof and a support leg 35 extending downwardly from right below the lower surface thereof so as to fit in a support groove formed in the upper portion of each of connecting members C. Likewise, the lower crosspiece 31 is provided with a concave section 39 which engages a flashing provided on the upper crosspiece of each frame of the intermediate cover glass frame section B2 in an adiabatic fashion and the upper crosspiece 32 is provided with a flashing 43 on which a ridge cover glass frame section adjusting cover is placed and an adiabatic packing on the upper portion thereof and a fitting projection 44 and a heat insulating member 47 covering the projection 44 from downward, at the lower portion thereof, respectively.
