Abstract

PURPOSE:To rigidly clamp a ring gear formed with a special annular groove on the inner peripheral surface onto the outer periphery of a flywheel by engaging the ring gear with the outer periphery of the flywheel and plastically flowing the material upon pressing of the cylindrical end. CONSTITUTION:A ring gear 8 is coupled to the outer peripheary of the flywheel 1 of a rotor of a magneto generator which is formed by securing a magnet to the cup-shaped flywheel 1 of manetic plate. In this case, an annular groove 8a is formed on the same circumference of the ring gear 8, and an approximately pyramid-shaped projection 8c is formed on the bottom of the slot. This ring gear 8 is engaged with the outer periphery of the flywheel 1, the cylinrical end of the flywheel is pressed by a ring-shaped die 17, thereby platically flow the material of the flywheel 1 to the pyramid-shaped recess and projection 8b, 8c and coupling the flywheel 1 to the ring gear 8.
