Abstract
PURPOSE:To always expose a new surface of grinding grains and clear the plugging by bonding grinding grains and inorganic particles which tend to fall off, with bonding agent consisting pf polyimide high molecular material and making the inorganic particles to fall off and chip off forcibly during grinding process. CONSTITUTION:Before grinding, grinding grains 11 consisting of diamond and the like and falling grains 12 consisting of boron are exposed on the surface of bonding agent 10' made of polyimide high molecular material and have effectiveness in grinding. During grinding process, inorganic grains 12 with less adhesion to the bonding agent 10' than the grinding grains 11 fall off or chip off and the bonding agent 10' on the surface to be processed are removed by means of those vacant parts 12a, 12b after said falling off or chipping off. Thus the new grinding surface is always exposed and stabilized processing without plugging is performed.
