Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to obain hot water in a short while and to lower the manufacturing costs of a hot water feeding apparatus, by providing a single heat source and a cover for covering a portion of an immersed pipe to locate above the immersed pipe, so that hot water can be collected by the cover and carried to an upper portion of a tank. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 3 having a burner 5 is disposed at alower portion of a tank 1, and a cover 13 having a semi-circular cross section is disposed above the heat exchanger 3. A pipe 14 having a valve 15 is connected to the left-side end of the cover 13. The pipe 14 is extended to the outside of the tank 1 and then the top of the pipe 14 is passed into the body of the tank 1 from an upper portion thereof. With each an arrangement, water around the heat exchanger 3 is made to flow in a direction shown by arrows in the drawing and collected by the cover 13, and then carried via the pipe 14 to an upper portion of the tank 1. Therefore, it is enabled to obtain hot water in a short while and to lower the manuracturing costs since only one heat source is required in the apparatus.
