Abstract

PURPOSE:To mix fuel oil and fuel gas to burn together by a method wherein the fuel gas is allowed to collide with the fuel oil injected from the atomizing cup to atomize the oil. CONSTITUTION:A gas nozzle 4 which is opened toward a combustion chamber 2 and injects combustion gas is arranged at the outer circumference of an atomizing cup 3, and the gas injection from the gas nozzle 4 is performed under the injection of the secondary air which is passed forcedly under an operation of the blower etc. through a buffle plate 5 arranged outside of the gas nozzle 4 and also through a feeding passage 6. Feeding of the primary air from an injection nozzle 1 is performed such that the secondary air transported from the secondary air feeding passage 6 is fed through a fan case 7. Thereby, the fuel gas is atomized so as to promote the gasification speed of the fuel oil and the combustion efficiency of the fuel oil is improved by the use of the atomized fuel gas and the heat of the combustion of fuel gas.
