Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition that is composed of a polyurethane resin composition containing acryloyl or methacryloyl groups, polymerizable monomers, acrylate or methacrylate prepolymer and a photosensitizer, thus being suitably used to seal electric parts, because of its high electric insulation and moisture resistance.
CONSTITUTION: Hydroxy acrylate or methacrylate is made to react with a diisocyanate at an equivalent ratio of 1 hydroxyl to 1.3W2 NCO to prepare a composition (A), which is made to react with castor oil at an equivalent ratio of 0.35W 0.85 NCO to 1 hydroxyl to give a polyurethane composition bearing acryloyl or methacryloyl groups (B). (B) 100pts.wt. of the resultant polyurethane composition are combined with 20W200, preferably 30W100pts. of (C) polymerizable monomers such as styrene and/or acrylate or methacrylate prepolymer to give a liquid resin. Finally, 100pts.wt. of the liquid resin is incorporated with a photosensitizer, preferably by 0.5W4pts. to give the objective photosetting resin composition.
