Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the processes of input/output, compression/expansion, etc. of a picture data in a high speed, by providing a control data bus through which only the control data signal is transmitted between a CPU and other parts plus a picture data bus through which only the picture data signal is transferred. CONSTITUTION:When a desired picture is delivered, the desired picture data received the data compression is read out to a picture file control part 21 from a picture file memory 21 by an amount equivalent to a picture screen and then transferred and stored successively in a picture editing/synthesizing memory part 23 with every prescribed block. Furthermore the data given from the part 23 is transferred to a picture compressing/expanding part 24 to be restored to the original picture data. Thus a desired picture is delivered from a picture output device 27 via a picture output control part 25. Meanwhile the instruction given to each part from a CPU20 are all transmitted via a control data bus 30, and the picture data is transferred through a picture data bus 40. When a picture is supplied and recorded, a picture input control part 26 reads the picture data given from a picture input device 28 and processes the data in an adverse route to the above-mentioned route.
