Abstract

CONSTITUTION: An opening 2 is provided in the lower half part of the body 1 of a holder so that a workpiece W is laid through the opening 2. Knurling tools 11 are mounted near ends of a pair of tool holding arms 10. The positions of the knurling tools 11 to push the peripheral surface of the workpiece W are located on a horizontal plane including the diameter of the circular cross section of the workpiece, so that the forces P of the right and the left knurling tools 11 for pushing workpiece W have an equal magnitude and are oriented oppositely to each other.
