Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively clean large capacity of air without causing more intake resistance, by building up many dust separator tubes to parallel plate shape in a hollow panel and covering an air intake port with said hollow panel. CONSTITUTION:Air cleaners 6 consist of hollowly shaped panels 9 built up with many dust separator tubes 8 to parallel plate shape. Each of the dust separator tubes 8 comprises a hollow cylindrical main unit 11 containing spiral blades 10 and an outlet pipe 12. Air sucked by a fan 5 flows in from of a vortex through the spiral blades in the dust separator tube 8, then dust is separated from clean air by centrifugal force, delivered from a dust outlet part 14 to a hollow part 15 in the panel 9 finally accumulated in a dust pan. Clean air passes through an outlet pipe 12, and is sucked into an engine hood 2 and blown to a radiator 4 by the fan 5. In this way, large capacity of air can be effectively cleaned with less intake resistance.
