Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an ink sheet which can readily obtain an image to be transferred in high quality with specific surface resistance in a sheet shape as a whole in which coloring pigment is dispersed. CONSTITUTION:A coloring pigment 101, particularly conductive coloring pigment such as carbon black or the like is dispersed in a film forming resin 102 in a sheet shape as a whole. Its ink transfer surface electric resistance is in a range of 10<2>-10<4> ohms, and the ratio of its surface electric resistance of the surface contacted with a recording meter to the surface electric resistance is in a range of 2-50 in an ink sheet 1. This sheet can be obtained by coating a resin film with coloring pigment in a dispersed manner on a film thermoplastic resin. Since the electric contact of the recording electrode and the recording material to be transferred by electric energiziging becomes constant on the surface scanned with a recording electrode stylus, an image of high quality can be formed.
