Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a reflecting plate having superior reflectance, superior surface smoothness and high heat resistance and useful as a reflecting mirror for an optical fixing device for facsimile, etc. by forming an intermediate layer of heat resistance varnish on a substrate and a vacuum-deposited metallic film of the intermediate layer. CONSTITUTION:Heat resistant polyamidoimide varnish is applied to a metallic substrate 1 many times until about 10mum thickess is obtd., and in order to volatilize the solvent and accelerate the polymn. reaction, the varnish is cured whenever applied.
