Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate disassembling and assembling of a roll bending device by detaining hammer heads to receiving seats within work roll chocks by turning or releasing the same from detention. CONSTITUTION:In the case of assembling work rolls 1, 2, the hammer head part 30 of a piston rod 15 inserted into the through-hole 31 of an upper work roll chock 5 passes through a semicircular seat part 33, after which it fits a working shaft 37 with its bottom ends and lifts it up. A pinion gear shaft 43 and a pinion gear 44 are rotated by the rack part of the shaft 37, and an inside cylinder 6 is advanced by the rack part 49 of an outside cylinder 47. Further, the shaft 37 is turned by a rack part 50 and a pinion gear 42. The part 30 is turned 90 deg. by this and is engaged with the part 33, by which the upper, lowr roll chocks 5, 6 are connected. In the case of disassembling, the above-mentioned inside, outside cylinders 46, 47 are retreated by the pressure of compressed air and the part 30 is turned 90 deg. to release the detention.
