Abstract
PURPOSE:To convert a channel selecting device into an IC, by providing a retrieving circuit that stops the frequency sweeping of the output of a voltage control local oscillator by the synchronizing signal of the video signal which received the wave detection and accordingly synchronizing the phase of the output of an oscillator with the phase of the video carrier wave after retrieving the TV broadcast wave. CONSTITUTION:The video signal given from a high frequency input part 1 and the signal given from a voltage control local oscillator 2 are applied to a mixer 3. The synchronous wave detection is given to the video carrier wave, and the conversion of frequency is given to the voice carrier wave. At the same time, the video signal of the part 1 is applied to a mixer 7, and the synchronism is secured between the phase of the output of the oscillator 2 and the phase of the video carrier wave through a PLL comprising the oscillator 2, a 90 deg. phase shifter 6, the signal and PLL low band pass filters 8 and 11, a phase comparator 10, etc. Furthermore a retrieving circuit is formed with a synchronizing signal tuning circuit 19, a channel selection control circuit 22, a gate circuit 14, a binary counter circuit 15 and analog switches 12, 23, etc. to stop the sweeping of the frequency of the oscillator 2. Then a GaAs device is used for the part 1 and the mixers 3 and 7 to facilitate the conversion of the channel selecting device into an IC.
