Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a diaphragm with high Young's modulus, low density and suitable internal loss, by mixing short fiber of poliamide and fine fiber by fibrillating polyamide, bonding said short fiber. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm of a speaker is formed by molding a mixture consisting of a stabilizer, an antioxidand, propylene homopolymer and about 20wt% calcium silicate. Further, this mixture is mixed with short fibers of polyamide and fine fibers by firbllicating the polyamide. As a result, the thermal stability at mixing and molding is increased, high Young's modulus and low density is provided and suitable inner loss is given to the diaphragm.
