Abstract
PURPOSE: A powder, obtained by adding and mixing magnesium silicate powder with a specidic pentanediol derivative highly fillable with improved affinity for and dispersibility in a synthetic resin, and capable of improving the operating ratio, physical properties and chemical properties of the synthetic resin.
CONSTITUTION: A 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol derivative expressed by the formula (R1 and R2 are 3W8C alkyl or acyl) in an amount of 0.2W6.0wt% is mixed with magnesium silicate powder. 0.1W3.0wt% ester expressed by the formula M(OR3)4 (M is silicon, titanium or zirconium; R3 is 1W5C alkyl) mixed therewith further improves the affinity and impact resistance thereof.
