Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent electrostatic charging of transfer material guiding members and to prevent the toner contamination of images by floating said members electrically when said members pass and holding said members grounded while a transfer material does not pass through said members. CONSTITUTION:A transfer material is guided by guides 51, 52 and is fed to a resist roller 6 which adjusts the timing for feeding the transfer material to a photosensitive drum 1. When the roller 6 beings to revolve, contacts 8 are opened by the signal of a control circuit 7, and conductive transfer material guiding members 91, 92 are floated electrically. After the trnsfer, the transfer material is conveyed by a conveying roller 11. These are so controlled that when the transfer material goes out from the members 91, 92 the contacts 8 are closed again and said members are grounded.
