Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the quality of a sintered ore constantly by estimating a receiving amount to a return ore tank from variation of the level in the return ore tank and a practical discharge amount of a return ore to preliminarily adjusting the discharge amount thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The level in a hot return ore tank 1 is measured at a definite cycle by a load cell 3 and, at the same time, the discharge amount from the tank 1 between each cycles is measured. From the level difference in the tank 1 generated within the period and the practically measured amount of a discharge amount, a practical receiving amount of the same period is calculated by an operator 9 and the estimation amount of a receiving amount between control actions of this time and the next time is calculated based on this practical receiving amount by an operator 10. On the other hand, based on the levels in the tank at each times, the next objective level is set and, based on the aforementioned estimation value, a discharge amount attaining an objective level is subsequently calculated by an operator 12. When the defference between the calculated value and the actual value of the discharge amount is within a predetermined range, the calculated value is directly used as a set value and, when out of the range, a compensating value is used as the set value to control the discharge amount of the sintered ore in the return ore tank 1.
