Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the initial setting of the injection timing unnecessary by a method wherein the injection timing is controlled by calculating the actual injection timing from the position of a crank shaft and the condition of a plunger lift while the duty ratio of a pressure regulting valve is changed in accordance with an error between an objective value. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 8 is accommodating a central processing unit 84 and a microcomputer having main elements of memories 85, 86 and is consisting of a circuit 81, shaping the wave form of the signal of a crank shaft position senser 17, a circuit 81, shaping the wave form of the signal of a plunger lift senser 18, an A/D converter 87 or the like, which are calculating the actual injection timing. The control circuit 8 inputs respective signals, showing operating conditions, from a spill ring position senser 19, detecting an injection amount, a cooling water temperature sensor 20, detecting the condition of warming-up, a suction temperature senser 21, detecting the amount of air, a suction pressure sensor 22 and an accelerator position senser 23, and calculates an objective injection timing most suitable for the operating condition while obtains the value of an error between an actual injection timing signal and changes the valve opening time of the pressure regulating valve 7 in accordance with the value of this error thereby controlling the injection timing.
