Abstract
PURPOSE:To change characteristics in accordance with the state of receiving of radio waves by taking out a part of output of a medium frequency amplifier, amplifying to a specified level, and removing high frequency component of voice signal when the state of receiving of radio broadcasting waves becomes below a specified level. CONSTITUTION:When the intensity of input electric field becomes below a predetermined level, radio waves induced in an antenna 11 are channel selected and amplified by a high frequency amplifier 12 and converted to intermediate frequency signal by a frequency converter 13. Output of the frequency converter 13 is amplified by an intermediate frequency amplifier 14 and demodulated to voice frequency signal by a wave detection circuit 15 and at the same time amplified to a specified level by an intermediate frequency amplifying circuit 211. Output of the amplifying circuit 211 is converted to d.c. voltage by a wave detection inversion circuit 212 and becomes output voltage of inverted polarity. Output of the detection inversion circuit 212 is applied to a transistor (TR) 222, and the TR222 conducts. Consequently, impedance between collector and emitter of TR222 is lowered and a low-pass filter enlarges attenuation of high frequency component of output of the detection circuit.
