Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a purifying tank which has a small-sized and simplified overall structure, by attaching an end plate at the side opening of a lateral cylindrical tank body and accordingly securing the installation of a manhole cylinder and a sterilizing chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A lateral cylindrical tank body 1 is formed a flat face 2 over the entire length. An end plate 3 is attached at the side opening of the body 1. An end plate 3a of one side protrudes outside at the center part to form a protruded part 4, and the upper face of the part 4 forms a flat face 5. An end plate 3b of the other side also has a flat face 5. These faces 5 are set at a substantially equal level to the face 2 of the body 1. Thus a manhole 16 can be drilled over the faces 5 and 2 to stick a manhole cylinder 17. Furthermore a sterilizing chamber is constituted inside the part 4 of the plate 3a by making use of a space. Thus both the chamber 9 and an arerating chamber 13 can be inspected from the cylinder 17. As a result, an overall structure is simplified for a purifying tank.
