Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a fuel cell excellent in the oscillation resistance by providing a supporter to prevent the oscillations of the cell proper between the fuel cell proper and a tank. CONSTITUTION:A supporter 9 made of a lug 10 and a receptacle 11 are provided between a cell proper 1 and a storage tank 8. That is, a bar-like lug 10 is provided vertically downward at the center of a tank cover, and a cylindrical receptacle 11 for coupling with the lug is provided on the center of an upper clamp fixture 2, then the lug is coupled with the receptacle 11. According to this constitution, the horizontal loads applied to the cell proper 1 during the transportation or earthquakes can be relieved, for instance, the shearing force applied to a laminated cell 5 can be reduced to 1/2 and the bending moment to 1/4. Thereby, the displacement between individual layers of the laminated cell 5 or the crack of laminated members can be prevented, and the oscillation resistance can be improved.
