Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a transformer which has low iron loss, high energy conversion efficiency and no noise by melting Fe-Co-Si alloy containing Fe as main ingredient when forming a core material for the transformer, injecting the molten alloy on a roller rotating at high speed and supercooling it. CONSTITUTION:A transformer is formed by winding low and high voltage coils 2, 3 on a fencelike laminated core 1. The core 1 is produced by arranging a heater element 11b at a gap around a heating tube 11a as a heater 11 and arranging a gas guide tube 3 at the lower end of the tube 11a to be inserted into the tube 11. Thus, the tube 11a is first raised, alloy material 14 made of Fe, Co, Si is filled therein, is heated, and is molten. Then, the tube 11a is press-fitted into the tube 3, is injected from a nozzle 11c provided at the end of the tube 3, is adhered on the surface of twin rollers 12a, 12b, is then supercooled, and thin strip alloy thin plates 14' are formed.
