PURPOSE:To improve wear resistance of a belt, by using a rubber-short fiber compound, reinforced with silanes coupling agent-hydrosilicic acid-carbon black- short fiber, as a compression rubber layer of the V-belt. CONSTITUTION:A rubber-short fiber compound, additively reinforced with 0.1- 5.0pts.wt. silanes coupling agent, 10-60pts.wt. hydrosilicic acid and 5-40pts.wt. short fiber for 100pts.wt. rubber, is used as the consitutional composite of a compression rubber layer 4. In this way, adhesive force to a cushion rubber layer 3 and adhesive force to core wires 2, in case of not providing the cushion rubber layer 3, can be improved simultaneously wear resistance can be also improved.
