Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for an interlocking mechanism for a diaphragm and a mirror, by starting the operations of the diaphragm and mirror respectively by the operation of one electromagnetic device in the diaphragm and mirror operating mechanism of a single-lens reflex camera. CONSTITUTION:In a charging state, an attracted piece attracted by a permanent magnet is released by the operation of an electromagnet 64. Consequently, a starting member 61 slides to the front of a camera, thereby pressing levers 29 and 40. A diaphragm release lever 29 releases a diaphragm driving member 9 to start stopping-down operation, and a speed adjusting mechanism release lever 40 starts a speed adjusting mechanism consisting of a sector gear 41, a pinion 48, an escape wheel 47, and a pallet fork 49, thereby springing up a mirror after enough delay time for the completion of the bounding of a diaphragm. Thus, the need for an interlocking mechanism between the mirror and diaphragm is eliminated to obtain a mirror and diaphragm driving mechanism which secures prescribed operation.
