Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a tightly closed structure very simply without using adhesives, by carrying out shrinkage fit through lowering forming pressure of vessel-like body lower than that of plug body. CONSTITUTION:Solid-state electrolyte powder is packed in a metallic mold and is press-formed into a vessel-like body 1. A paste 5 for electrode is applied on the inner side and prescribed position of the upper face of the body 1. A plug body 2 is formed by using the same solid-state electrolyte powder the body 1 and press- forming it in the mold. On this occasion, the press-forming pressure is made higher than that of press-forming the body 1. After a solid-state electrode 3 is packed in the body 1, the body 2 is inserted and fixed thereon. After that, it is dried and is sintered at 1,450 deg.C for three hours in reducing atmosphere.
