Abstract
PURPOSE: An artificial tooth stabilizer that is prepared by adding dibutylhydroxytoluene as a discoloration preventive to a pasty artificial tooth stabilizer mainly consisting of a vinyl acetate resin, thus showing the inhibition of the discoloration with time and no discoloration even when stored at high temperature for a long period of time.
CONSTITUTION: The objective artificial tooth stabilizer is obtained by adding dibutylhydroxytoluene as a discoloration preventive, by 0.01W2, preferably 0.05W 1wt%, based on the total composition, to a pasty artificial tooth stabilizer mainly consisting of a vinyl acetate resin. In the artificial tooth stabilizer, a vinyl acetate resin, when necessary, non-toxic oil, wax, oil-soluble emulsifier, a water-soluble powder, enzymes are used as active ingredients, further water and a lower alcohol are used as a solvent to prepare a paste. The dibutylhydroxytoluene is preferably added at the last kneading stage.
