Abstract

PURPOSE:To distribute raw materials uniformly in a furnace by supplying a part of the raw materials from a subsupply passage connected to a main supply passage which communicates a hopper and a distributing chute. CONSTITUTION:One end of a subsupply passage 12 is connected to a main supply passage 11 which connects a hopper 5 for storage of raw materials and a distributing chute 9. A screw 13 which is revolved by a motor 14 is provided in the passage 12, and the subraw materials (b) in a subhopper 15 are fed successively by each small amt. into the passage 11 in conformity with the charging time of main raw materials (a) by revolving the screw 13, whereby the subraw materials are mixed with the main raw materials (a). According to this charging method, it is possible to mix a small amt. of the materials (b) thoroughly with the materials (a) and to disperse and charge these uniformly into the furnace.
