Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform a highly precise distribution without the need to consider the treatment of a sample drop adhered to a nozzle end, by a method wherein diluted solution is previously distributed into reacting tubes, and when sample liquid is distributed, the distribution is conducted in a manner to immerse the tip end of a sample liquid ditributing nozzle to a slight depth in the diluted solution. CONSTITUTION:A diluted solution distributor 2 distributes a diluted solution into reaction tubes 1A-1D. A sample liquid distributing nozzle N' of a sample liquid distributor 9 is then inserted into a sample liquid cap 7 to suck a neccessary amount to a cylinder. The sample liquid distributing nozzle N' is then moved to a spot located immediately above the reaction tube 1A, the nozzle is inserted in the tube, and after the forward end of the sample liquid nozzle N' is slightly immersed in a diluted solution 6 (to a depth of about 2mm.), a given amount is distributed with the sample liquid distributor 9 actuated. The nozzle is then lifted, and distribution to other reaction tube takes place in a similar manner. This eliminates the need to perform a delicate adjusting operation to treat a sample drop adhered to the sample distributing nozzle, and also the possibility to cause an error in distribution operation.
