Abstract

PURPOSE: To curtail the time required for the inspection and repair of the cartridge by pulling out the same at the removal of the bonnet of the valve body.
CONSTITUTION: When the bonnet 6 is turned by 90° levelwise, the projection 62 is set in the groove 17 making the bonnet 6 be integrated with cartridge 10 by having mediation of the packing there. For the checking and repairment of the valve, the cartridge 10 should be removed. For this purpose it is required to slacken the fixing bolt 61 and lift the bonnet 6 as they are. With this work, the cartridge 10, which is now incorporated with the bonnet 6, can be pulled out from the valve body 2. Thus, it is now available to minimize the time required for the checking and repair.
