Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent falldown of a tractor running on an inclined surface by restraining swing of the front wheels fixed swingably at the front part of the vehicle using a swing restraining mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The front axle 7 on which the front wheels 2 are fitted is fixed to the vehicle body 1 swingably through a center pin 6. This axle 7 is provided with a stopper 8 facing to the chassis 4 with a certain spacing 9 to restrict the extent of swinging of the front axle 7. The chassis 4 is equipped with a solenoid 10 which is to allow a detainer pin 11 to appear and disapper with the aid of a fitting metal 12, and the pin 11 is arranged at the gap 9 separably. In case a tractor shall run on an inclined surface along a contour line, the switch is turned on to energize the solenoid 10 and the detainer pin 11 is inserted in the gap 9. Thus swing of the front axle 7 can be perfectly hindered.
