Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the titled system with reduced machine parts and compact space wherein one economizer is used in both of a cold trap and a plugging meter and Na is supplied to a Na sampling apparatus from an outlet side of the economizer.
CONSTITUTION: Na in an Na tank 12 is pumped up by a solenoid pump 14 and cooled to about 200°C in the economizer 38 and, thereafter, supplied to the cold trap 22, the plugging meter 28 and the Na sampling apparatus 34. Then Na is supplied to an apparatus 24 through a solenoid pump 44 and a solenoid flow meter 46 for adjusting and monitoring an Na flow amount and solidified Na sample is taken out. Further, Na introduced into the plugging meter 28 through a solenoid pump 40 and a solenoid flow meter 42 is cooled at a place 30 to lower a temp. thereof and Na purity is measured. Moreover, Na introduced into the trap 22 is further cooled in the cooling apparatus 24 to catch and remove impurities in Na. Subsequently, Na introduced into the trap 22 and the plugging meter 28 is again returned to the econimizer 38 and, after heated to a temp. of about 400°C, returned to the tank 12.
