Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled polymer, having improved polymerization degree and heat resistance, and baked flexible film, by polycondensing a silicone oil as one component of starting materials with a functional silane and a boronic compound.
CONSTITUTION: (A) Dimethyl silicone oil or methylphenyl silicone oil or both having a viscosity of 1.0cSt or more at 25°C are polycondensed with (B) a compound of formulas SiX4, SiRX3 and/or SiRR'X2 (R and R' are methyl or phenty; X is hydroxyl group or chlorine, and includes a dehydrated condensate of the compound of the formula in which X is hydroxyl group) and (C) boric acid (anhydride), a metallic borate, a boron halide and/or a boric ester. at 50W800°C to give the aimed polymer.
