PURPOSE:To provide a reclaiming method wherein a composite mat, having a better water permeability, can be placed flat and widely on a soft stratum of a soft ground, no water remains on the sheet, and a slip can be sufficiently prevented even if a soil stratum is very soft. CONSTITUTION:A composite mat 10, wherein a water permeable sheet 7 and a rhombic wire net 8 are united, is placed on a soft ground 1. A partition bank 2 is constructed on the composite mat 10, and a reclaiming side is reclaimed such that the composite mat 10 extends into the reclaimed side by 3 meters or more from the end of the partition bank 2.
