Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the deviation in the position of transfer paper by starting image formation after detecting the arrival of paper at a prescribed position in a recorder which transfers the image on a recording drum on the paper. CONSTITUTION:Paper 31 is beforehand fed up to a resist roller 33 by a feed rollers 32. When a recording command is emitted, the roller 33 revolves, thereby starting conveying the paper. When the leading end of the paper is detected by a photoelectric element 35, image recording on a photosensitive drum 14 is started by the laser 1. During the time since the resist roller is operated and then the operation of the element 35 starts, clock pulses are counted, and when the value thereof exceeds a constant value, it is confirmed as abnormal conveyance delay, and an announcement signal is emitted to stop the apparatus.
