Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily form a stable outer electrically-coductive layer on the surface of an insulating core wire, by coating powdery electrically-conductive adhesive compounded with special binder on the surface of crosslinked polyolefin insulated core wire, and by melting them to unify the same.
CONSTITUTION: Crosslinked polyolefin insulated core wire is drawn from a supplying drum 9 to be coated with powdery adhesive compounded with polyethylene or modified polyolefin as the binder into an electrically-conductive powder, by a plastic extruder 4. Next, the core wire surface is heated to melt the binder in order to form the crosslinked polyolefin insulating layer by a crosslinking device 5. Successively, the electrically-conductive layer is formed on the surface of the insulating layer through an electrically-cinductive layer forming device 6.
