PURPOSE:To shorten adjusting time by using a semiconductor element itself as a temperature sensor and by adjusting automatically the resistance of the sensor. CONSTITUTION:When a resistor 34 as a temperature sensor is adjusted, a transmission gate T4 is turned on by a signal of S1 at a reference temperature previously set. Further, with counters 65-71, that share use with a divider, kept under reset states, a high signal is applied to a pad 64, and an R-S.FF comprising NAND circuits 59, 60 is set. Next, by making a reset signal S9 low, sweeping is performed by the counters 65-71 to control cells C1-C7 having MOS transistors different in conductance coefficients for each cell, and further when the output from a differential amplifier 24 is inversed from high to low, by resetting the R-S.FF, the data at that time is held in a latch circuit 58.
