Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent formation of short-circuit by the transistor by a method wherein the suspending period of an interrupted DC output voltage is made as shorter than the storage time of the transistor. CONSTITUTION:A prohibition pulse generating circuit 46 is annexed to a chopper circuit 2 to interrupt a DC voltage and to regulate an output voltage controlling the duty ratio of interrupted pulses, and the suspending period of chopper output voltage is limited as to become shorter than the storage time of transistors 13-16 according to control of voltage. Accordingly because the suspending period does not become shorter than the prescribed time being set as a little longer than the storage time, generation of chopper output voltage during the transistors 13, 14 are together in ON-state is restricted, short-circuit to be generated by the transistors 13, 14 is not formed, and short-circuit to be generated by the transistors 15, 16 is not formed samely.
