Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently and inexpensively manufacture the titled container, by fitting the thermally expanded opened end of a cup-shaped piece to the opened end of another piece and by melting a hot melt adhesives applied to the fitted part by performing a high frequency induction heating.
CONSTITUTION: When each opened end part of two thin metallic cup-shaped pieces 1 and 1' are adhered to each other, a hot melt adhesives 4 is applied to the outer circumferential surface of a stepped part 3 and a projected part 3' first. The opened end of the upper piece 1 is fitted to the stepped part 3 after the opened end is enlarged by an appropriate heating method, and then, the upper piece 1 is cooled by, for example, air spouted out through air spouting ports 7 and 7'. By this cooling, the piece 1 is shrinked and the fitted part is press-fitted with a constant pressure. Then, the fitted part is heated from the periphery by means of a high pressure induction heating from copper coils, and the hot melt adhesives 4 is melted.
