Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the spacing between a winding stem and a dial and reduce the thickness of a watch by so arranging a titled structure that during correcting of the data a day corrector escapes from the engagement to a day display member on the plane parallel with the plane of a plate. CONSTITUTION:When a winding stem 11 is pulled one step, a sliding pinion 1 is located in the state that it is meshed with a date wheel 3 and a day corrector. When the stem 11 is rotated to the right in this state, one tooth of the sliding pinion A tooth 1a engages to the face of the data wheel 3 cut in parallel with the stem 11 and rotates the date wheel 3 counterclockwise, thereby correcting the data. When the point of the end time of the date correction is roughtly attained, other tooth of the sliding pinion B tooth 1b part engages to the slope of the saw-toothlike tooth profile part 2b of the day corrector and is rotated around a pin 6 clockwise in parallel with the plane of a plate 13 until the day corrector 2b part and the sliding pinion 1b disengage. Hence, the day corrector 2c part moves apart from a daily start 4b and does not engage thereto, hence only the data correction is accomplished.
