Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the energization of a cup-shaped rotor to the reverse output side without utilization of a main magnetic flux by mounting a magnetic ring at the open edge of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A magnet 2 is secured to an end bracket 1, and a cup-shaped rotor 5 secured to a shaft 4 is arranged on the outer periphery of the magnet 2. A magnetic ring 13 made of magnetic stainless steel is secured with adhesive to the open edge of the rotor 5. The end of the reverse output side of the shaft projected from the terminal of a commutator 6 is formed in a spherical shape, and is pivotally contacted via a thrust bearing plate 15 made of graphite-filled nylon adhered with adhesive 14 to the end bracket 8 made of synthetic resin. Since the rotor can be energized at the reverse output side and can also be pivotally supported in this manner, mechanical noise can be reduced.
