Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the repairing after lamination while diminishing the defective products and to improve tool life, in case when blanking the outer shape of the iron core of the roter from the intermittently moving steel band, and then blanking accurately the inner shape of the iron core of the armature, by simultaneously blanking its slots openings.
CONSTITUTION: The band of electric steel plate S is intermittently fed by the pitch of pilot holes 1 toward (m) direction. At a stage I, the holes 1 a part 2a of the slot holes of an armature core are blanked out while leaving openings 9a of slots. At a stage II, slot holes 3 and a shaft holes 4, at a stage III, the outer shape 5 of a roter core are blanked. At a stage IV the inner shape 6b of the armature core, the residual part 9a of the stage I, and at a stage V the outer shape 7 of the armature core are blanked. Here the openings 9a which project in the inner diameter of dies at right angles and opens radially, and the inner shape 6b are blanked simultaneously, so as to make the opening 9b bite the inside of die and to make the opening 9b prevent a scrap 6c from shrinking by the side pressure of dies thus producing no problem of buoyancy and stabilizing its precise dimensions.
